On December 7th, 2023,  Minister of Agriculture Dr. Muhammad Abdur Razzaque signed the "Memorandum of Understanding for Agricultural Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the Argentine Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of Bangladesh"  in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Bangladesh.

This Memorandum provides a framework for bilateral cooperation in agricultural topics such as food safety, good agricultural practices, technical norms and standards, precision agriculture and biotechnology, among others.
