On December 6, Ambassador Marcelo Cesa presented his Letters of Credence to the Honorable President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh His Excellency Mohammed Shahabuddin.

Authorities who participated in the ceremony were Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, Military Secretary to the President, Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Deputy Foreign Secretary, Mr. Nayem Uddin Ahmed, Chief of Foreign Ministry Protocol and Brigadier General Raju Ahmed, Secretary Military Deputy to the President.
